Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker proved once again that he's a profoundly prolific scorer — and he's just 22 years old.
In the Suns' loss to the Utah Jazz, Booker dropped 59 points and became just the fourth player in NBA history with multiple 50-point games before turning 23 years old. The other guys on the list? Rick Barry, LeBron James, and Kyrie Irving.
Devin Booker becomes the 4th player in NBA history with multiple 50-point games before his 23rd birthday, joining Rick Barry (7), LeBron James (3) and Kyrie Irving (2).

Booker's other 50-point game was two years ago when he dropped 70 points against the Boston Celtics on March 24, 2017. He became the youngest player ever to score over 60 points in a game.

For the season, Devin Booker is averaging 25.6 points per game on 45.4 percent shooting from the field, 6.8 assists, and 4.2 rebounds. Without a doubt, Booker is already considered one of the NBA's elites. He has figured out how to score against the top defenses in the world.
Perhaps not much credit is given to him because his team has been in the losing column for the past few years. In a team game like basketball, winning is what matters — not necessarily individual records. Despite their season record this year, many have labeled the Suns an up-and-coming team. The likes of Deandre Ayton, Kelly Oubre Jr., and Josh Jackson have stepped up this year. Who knows — they might be able to land Zion Williamson in the 2019 NBA Draft.
Devin Booker would make a great teammate.
