The man is right. Based on what we've seen from him of late, Booker definitely needs to be in the conversation for this year's MVP award. In his last six games prior to Thursday's offensive explosion, Booker was already averaging 30.0 points on 53.7 percent shooting, 4.2 rebounds, 6.2 assists, and 1.3 steals, while also connecting on 2.8 triples on a 39.5 percent clip. All six games resulted in wins for the Suns despite the fact that they were missing Chris Paul, who himself returned to action on Thursday against Denver.

The Suns are a legitimate threat to this year's title and they are currently considered by many as the favorites to win it all this year. Devin Booker is the best player on the best team in the NBA, so this in itself should put him in contention for this year's MVP title.
