Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker got to finally play on Christmas day but he didn't get the results he wanted.
Four years ago, Suns marksman Devin Booker expressed his desire to play an NBA game on Christmas day. This year, the two-time NBA All-Star's wish was granted as the Suns took on the Golden State Warriors in the battle of the two best teams in the West.
“We need a Christmas game @NBA,” Booker tweeted in 2017.

Unfortunately, the Suns fell short-handed and loss to the Warriors 116-107. The emphatic win saw the Dubs surpassing Phoenix in the standings.
Booker failed to put on a show at home, having scored just 13 points in 40 minutes of basketball. Stephen Curry on the other hand, was the man of the hour, who finished the game with a game-high 33 points.
Speaking to the media after the game, Booker admitted that the Warriors were the better team “the whole game” but despite acknowledging that it was a special game, he stressed that the Suns are now looking forward to “the next game.”
“They [the Warriors] played well tonight, on both ends throughout the whole game and that's that they wanted it more an they played like it,” Booker told reporters post game. “We should have to take this loss and move on to our next game, the 27th versus Memphis and that's that.”
“It's ‘it's on to the next game mentality,” he added.
Booker and the Suns will be facing the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday as they try to reclaim their No. 1 spot in the standings.
