Devin Booker's status for the Phoenix Suns remains unclear after he sustained a hamstring injury, but it is worth noting he joined the team in their trip to New Orleans.

Booker suffered the injury in their Game 2 loss to the New Orleans Pelicans. He left the contest in the third quarter and did not return, allowing the Pels to stage a furious rally to even the series at 1-1.

There are concerns about his status for the series, especially since hamstring injuries can be tricky to deal with. However, in what could be a good sign for the Suns, Booker is with the Suns as they fly to NOLA–raising hopes up on the possibility that he could return sooner rather than later.

The sighting is noteworthy since it has been rumored that he could miss Games 3 and 4 of the series because of his hamstring injury. Considering that, it wouldn't have made sense for the Suns to include him in their trip instead of letting him rest and recover from his injury.

Of course it is possible that Devin Booker just wants to join the team to show his support. Another reason could be the Suns are not yet sure of his status and they have to check on his progress, which doesn't guarantee a return to play as well.

Booker's absence is a major blow to a Suns team hoping to get to the Finals again and complete the job they failed last year. However, they have been riddled with injuries once again, which doesn't bode well for their plans.

Hopefully, though, Booker won't be out for long and the Suns can hold the fort while he's recovering.
