The Phoenix Suns had some serious fun both on and off the court on Tuesday afternoon as the Western Conference franchise managed to down the surging Los Angeles Clippers in surprising fashion, thanks to some late-game magic from All-Star guard Devin Booker. Not only that, but Booker hit quite the shot to end regulation with his team on top while most notably doing so right in the face of Clippers superstar swingman Paul George.
As is tradition, the Suns then quickly took to social media en route to gloating in hilarious fashion while continuing to celebrate the team's victory over a talented Clippers squad.

Not to take away from Booker's shot over Leonard, though, the Suns could not have asked for a more difficult look to end the game. Granted, Booker is Phoenix's best player, but even the best of the best would have trouble making such a shot — especially right over a player at the level of the aforementioned George.

As it stands today, the 45-22 Clippers remain in the No. 2 spot in the Western Conference with the crosstown rival Los Angeles Lakers already securing the No. 1 overall seed in the playoffs. On the other hand, the upstart Suns now sit at 29-39 on the year, good for 12th place in the Western Conference standings. However, the Suns are now only three games behind the eighth place Memphis Grizzlies. If the Suns can keep this up, it will be a close call at the end of the regular season as the Western Conference has six teams fighting for that final playoff spot.
