The Phoenix Suns will be without star shooting guard Devin Booker when they take on the Memphis Grizzlies Saturday night.
Booker has a mild strain of his hamstring which he suffered Wednesday night at home against the Los Angeles Lakers. The sharpshooter played 29 minutes versus the Lakers before getting hurt, scoring 23 points while shooting 8-of-16 from the field, 2-of-6 from beyond the arc and 5-of-7 from the free-throw line.
The Suns lost to the Lakers by a final score of 131-113. Phoenix is 1-3 on the season.

The injury bug just won't leave Devin Booker alone. The 21-year-old scoring guard underwent surgery to repair an injury to the fifth metacarpophalangeal joint in his right hand in early September, but he has been playing through the pain while wearing a splint on his pinky/ring finger.
In the four games he has played in this year, Booker is averaging 27.8 points, 4.5 rebounds and 6.8 assists. The 21-year-old is shooting 50.7 percent from the floor, 38.7 percent from the 3-point line and 81.8 percent from the charity stripe.
The Suns signed Devin Booker to a five-year, $158 million maximum contract extension in the offseason. The team is nowhere near ready to compete for a playoff spot this season. Playing it safe with Booker, the team's franchise cornerstone, is the right play.
