Ricky Rubio has found a new home with the Phoenix Suns, and the veteran point guard feels he can bring a lot to the table to the rebuilding team.
Rubio signed a three-year, $51 million contract with the Suns after not getting a new deal from the Utah Jazz. The 28-year-old point guard said that he believes he can be an effective extension of Phoenix head coach Monty Williams on the floor, mainly because of his vast experience in the league.

Williams is expecting that Rubio's arrival will help young stars Devin Booker and DeAndre Ayton. The new Suns head coach said that that having a point guard who can be his extension on the floor makes things easier for him and for his teammates.
Rubio spent the past two seasons with the Jazz after playing his first six years in the league with the Minnesota Timberwolves, who drafted him fifth overall in 2009. He had his best scoring year during the 2017-18 season, posting 13.1 points a game. In 68 games last season, he averaged 12.7 points and 6.1 assists per contest.
