Phoenix Suns swingman Trevor Ariza has been drawing a lot of interest from teams around the NBA landscape. In fact, there are said to be at least eight teams interested in his services, according to a report from John Gambadoro of 98.7 FM in Phoenix.
Suns have heard from no less than 8 teams interested in acquiring Trevor Ariza. Lakers are one of those teams but there is nothing close at this time. Suns not interested in KCP and a bench player.

As Gambadoro wrote, the Los Angeles Lakers are believed to be one of the teams interested in acquiring Ariza. The Suns and Lakers have engaged in trade discussions, but no deal has come to fruition.
In a report for ESPN, Adrian Wojnarowski noted that the two sides are working to reach an agreement with a third team that would take on Lakers guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. However, it seems the Suns are not interested in this offer.

Phoenix and Los Angeles have made progress in third-team scenarios, although no agreements are close and both teams remain active in multiple trade discussions throughout the league.
Ariza, who signed a $15 million deal with Phoenix this summer, would be a fine addition to any team looking for depth on the wing. In his 34 appearances with the Suns this season (all starts), the former UCLA Bruin has racked up averages of 9.7 points on 36.8 percent shooting from the field (34.8 percent fro beyond the arc), 5.5 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.3 steals in 33.6 minutes per outing.
The Suns (4-22 and 5th in the Pacific Division standings) will be back in action on Monday night, as they're scheduled to host the L.A. Clippers. Tip-off inside Talking Stick Resort Arena is set for 9:00 p.m. EST.
