Rap and basketball are commonly correlated with one another. The music style is highly popularized in the NBA today, and it has become an inseparable part of the NBA's pop culture along with basketball sneakers.

Most NBA players are music junkies in their own right. Some can even rap exceptionally well. For example, Portland Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard has his own rap albums out and is praised as being the NBA's best rapper.

In recent news, the Lead posted an article on their take of the best rappers in the NBA. In their tweet on social media, however, you can clearly see numbers 10-8. Andre Drummond was ranked No. 8 by the Lead, and he wasn't very happy about it, especially since Lonzo Ball was ranked higher than him.

Drummond actually has released some viral videos of himself rapping, but he has humbly declared that he isn't a rapper by any means. Ball, on the other hand, seems to have a penchant for rap music. He released his own music video, Super Saiyan, a few months ago and has shown that he wants to follow in the footsteps of Damian Lillard and become a dual NBA player and rapper.

Of course, Drummond has his pride and will likely never move from his stance even if Ball drops a No. 1 hit. Nonetheless, both players have been phenomenal for their teams.

Drummond is averaging 14.5 points, 15.1 rebounds, and 3.9 assists for the Pistons. Ball is currently averaging 10.2 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 7.1 assists for his Lakers squad. Hopefully, Drummond can lay down the bitterness and maybe collaborate with Ball one day on their own album to satisfy both parties in their quest of making quality rap music.
