Portland Trail Blazers star point guard Damian Lillard wants to clear it up with people who are questioning his interest level in signing a supermax extension with the franchise.
Lillard is expected to sign a four-year, $191 million extension with the Blazers this summer after he makes an All-NBA team.

Lillard currently has two years left on his contract with the Blazers. The four-time All-Star has said many times he wants to spend his entire career with Portland and become the best player in franchise history.
The Blazers won 53 games this season and went to the Western Conference Finals for the first time since 2000. Lillard averaged 25.8 points, 4.6 rebounds and 6.9 assists during the regular season while shooting 44.4 percent from the field, 36.9 percent from beyond the arc and 91.2 percent from the free-throw line. He passed LaMarcus Aldridge as the second-leading scorer in franchise history. Dame only trails Clyde Drexler now.
The Blazers got swept by the Golden State Warriors in the conference finals, but it was still a special season for Lillard and Portland. Management now has to find a third dynamic scorer to add to the team so Lillard and C.J. McCollum don't have to carry the load on offense every night. The return of big man Jusuf Nurkić next season will be a big boost as well.
