Portland Trail Blazers superstar point guard Damian Lillard joined Draymond Green on his podcast for a full hour. They discussed a range of topics. At one point, Lillard references the fact that he has not played with an All-Star since early in his career. That prompted the obvious question from Green. Do you think that's because of where you play? That's when the fun began.

At approximately the 36:30 mark of the interview, Green asked the question.

“I think part of it is that… Bruh, people going to Oklahoma City, bruh. No offense but people going to Oklahoma City and people going to Milwaukee… people are going places and Portland ain't what people think it is. Otherwise I wouldn't have been living here this long… Melo went to OKC when we was trying to get Melo to come here. Ask Melo where he would go first.”

The Blazers guard is talking about the fact that at the end of the day, players are playing in cities outside major metropolitan areas. In doing so, he threw a quick jab at places like Oklahoma City and Milwaukee. Both places have difficult winters and are not regarded as the most sought after places to live.

All of this comes amid speculation that Lillard is not long for Portland and that he wanted out.
