The Portland Trail Blazers are in flux when it comes to their basketball product on the floor heading into next season. But it's an understatement compared to what's going on off the court. Damian Lillard has reportedly been ghosted by team owner Jody Allen.
The issues have been much deeper than just the Blazers front office's fizzling relationship with their star player. Former GM Neil Olshey had been in hot water previously over workplace misconduct, which was right at the center of the toxicity that reportedly emanated from within the top level of the organization.

Sources told The Post, there is growing disarray behind the scenes. A highly placed team staffer alleged that Jody’s “toxic behavior” — dating back to allegations of harassing bodyguards and violating US import laws — has spilled over into the management of the team.
With the internal strife ongoing within the Blazers brass, Nike founder Phil Knight had reportedly put in a bid to purchase the Blazers. But beyond just turning down his offer, Allen was said to outright refuse to take Knight's call entirely in a move that affirms her refusal to sell the team no matter what:
According to Miller, Jody even refused to take Knight’s call when the Nike founder, who has an estimated fortune of $54.5 billion, put his initial offer together: “She did not take Phil’s call. She deferred him to Bert.”
The Blazers may have locked up Damian Lillard to an extension and acquired a few nice pieces here and there, but the problems persist behind the scenes.
