The Sacramento Kings are the most clutch team in the NBA right now.

As observed by Redditor u/hammerific, the Kings have the best win percentage in clutch situations in the NBA this year with a 13-4 record. Per NBA.com, a clutch situation occurs in the last five minutes of the game, with the point differential within five points or less.

A look at the team's net ratings in the clutch will reveal why they are the best in the league right now. They have the highest net rating in clutch situations with 32.6. The next in line is the Indiana Pacers with a clutch net rating of 26.0. They also have the best defense with an 82.7 clutch defensive net rating. The Miami Heat come in second with an 88.8 defensive rating.

The Kings currently have an 18-15 record and have won two straight games. It's a big improvement from their 27-win season last year, wherein they managed to accumulate a 5.3 net rating in the clutch for ninth overall.

And it's not just through the numbers where the Kings are making their mark. Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr had nothing but compliments for the Kings squad. Per Blake Ellington of SB Nation, Kerr said then:

“They’re good. They’re playing with a lot of confidence, they’re playing fast, they’ve got a lot of shooters, they put a lot of pressure on you and they don’t quit either. We were in control of that game most of the way and then it just completely collapsed on us, but it had to do with their pressure and their execution.”

The last time that the Kings qualified for the playoffs was in 2005-06 season. If all goes well this year, this drought may come to an end.
