Already tied for the league-worst record of 14-33, the Sacramento Kings suffered another blow as their prized rookie, De'Aaron Fox, was forced to leave Tuesday's game against the Orlando Magic due to abdominal tightness.

He is currently listed as day-to-day, according to Jason Jones of the Sacramento Bee.

The 20-year-old Kentucky product has been playing well as of late and is averaging solid numbers this season with 10.4 points, 2.6 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 1.0 steals in 26.5 minutes per game. Fox was slated to receive more playing time on Tuesday as the Kings rested George Hill, while his fellow rookie, Frank Mason, is currently nursing a foot injury. Fox only saw 10 minutes of action and finished with seven points and one rebound across his name against the Magic.

It is still unclear when Fox will return to action but if there's any good news for the Kings at this point, his injury doesn't appear to be very serious and listing him as day-to-day could mean there's a chance he can suit up for them again soon.

Garrett Temple remains the only full-time point guard the Kings can use in Fox's absence if they'll rest Hill again. However, Buddy Hield, Bogdan Bogdanovic, and even Malachi Richardson are all capable of playing at the one spot and are all expected to receive minutes at that position from head coach Dave Joerger.

The Kings will have the day off on Wednesday before facing the Miami Heat the following day, and it will be interesting to see what their guard rotation will look like on that night.
