On Thursday night, the Sacramento Kings came away with a razor-thin home victory against the visiting Los Angeles Lakers, thanks to a game-winning 3-pointer by Kings forward Bogdan Bogdanovic at the buzzer.

Following the 117-116 win, Kings players were understandably delighted with their effort. However, in a postgame interview, Kings sophomore guard De'Aaron Fox could not help but take a shot at all the Lakers fans in the building:

Fox even had to resort to some NSFW language to emphasize how much he detests the presence of all the Lakers supporters at the Golden 1 Center.

The multitude of Lakers fans in Sacramento is not surprising given the close proximity between the two California cities. This is certainly not the first time this has happened, and this is definitely no fault of the Lakers supporters.

So, perhaps, Fox is directing his complaints to Kings supporters. Maybe Fox is trying to send a message to his home fans, asking them to step it up, especially considering how the Kings have had a surprisingly impressive start to the new season.

For his part, Fox had another good outing on Thursday against the LeBron James-less Lakers. The 6-foot-3 guard just missed out on his second triple-double of the season with 15 points (on 6-of-20 shooting), nine rebounds, and 12 assists.

De'Aaron Fox has successfully elevated his game in only his second year in the league, and he has been huge for the Kings so far this season. His impressive play has been one of the main reasons why his team is currently in the eighth spot of the highly competitive Western Conference, beating out the likes of the San Antonio Spurs, Utah Jazz, and Minnesota Timberwolves.
