Sacramento Kings fans may have just found a hilarious way of distracting opposing teams' players when they visit the 15-foot parallel. During the Kings' home opening game against the Utah Jazz on October 17, Sacramento fans used large cardboard cut outs of Jimmy Fallon's face to fluster Jazz players attempting to shoot a free throw.

The Tonight Show host, who initially thought it was fake news, caught on with the Sacramento fans' tactics, and was amused by their creativity. Fallon also reacted to the antics on his show, and showed to the viewers some portraits from the game.

The Sactown faithful not only used one, but several huge cutouts of Fallon's face with different hilarious facial expressions of the talk show host. The Kings definitely appreciated the creativity.

The troll job did prove to work at one point in the game when Jazz rising star Donovan Mitchell missed his freebie at the stripe late in the fourth quarter.

The tactic was somewhat effective as the Jazz shot 73.7 percent from the free throw line in the game, which was a tad below their season percentage of 77.9 percent in 2017-18.

Unfortunately for Sacramento fans, the antics weren't enough to get the Kings the W as they dropped their home opener to the Jazz, 123-117.

The Kings haven't played at home since the opener, but are currently 1-3 on the season, stealing a game on the road against the Oklahoma City Thunder, 131-120. The win spoiled Russell Westbrook's season debut for the Thunder.

Fortunately for Sacramento fans, they can make use of their hilarious cardboard cut outs of Fallon's face once again as the Kings return home tonight to take on the Memphis Grizzlies.
