DeMarcus Cousins had picked up his sixth foul and left the game frustrated at the night's officiating.

The Sacramento Kings blew a lead in the fourth quarter, and lost the game in overtime to the Miami Heat.

Matt Barnes had a few choice words for the referees after the game ended and before he left the floor, because he was also frustrated with the officiating.

On Thursday, the NBA announced a $15,000 fine for Barnes due to his diatribe towards the refs.

If there is one player in the league who knows he's always under close scrutiny, it would be Barnes. He's been on the wrong end of fines many times, but he seems to realize it when it's too late.

Cousins himself was fined $25,000 for slamming his mouthpiece into the stands in a win a few nights ago.

In the first five games of the season, the Kings are 2-3, but they should be more careful about letting frustrations take over so early in the season. If they continue to lose control, there will be more fines.
