Apparently not every team is interested in trading for DeMarcus Cousins.

An anonymous Western Conference executive says that he would not want Cousins on his new team because of how his attitude could negatively affect younger players.

Via The Vertical:

A high-ranking executive from a Western Conference team that contemplated a trade for Cousins was adamant in no longer having interest.

“Everything about that guy is wrong,” the exec told The Vertical. “I don’t want that attitude around my young players.”

Not everyone feels this way though.

But an assistant coach from the same team remained interested in trading for Cousins.

“That situation out there would screw anybody up,” the coach said. “I’m telling you, get him out of that mess and you will see a different person — and a great [expletive] player.”

People have to be torn with Cousins. They see the kind of numbers he puts up and the talent jumps off the screen. But the other baggage also has you thinking about staying away.

A change of scenery may be all Boogie needs to transform into one of the best players in the league. Or else Boogie may be the problem.
