The first scheduled game for Wednesday night between the Sacramento Kings and the Philadelphia 76ers was scheduled to tip off at 7 p.m. EST, but a big problem with a wet floor had prevented both teams from taking the floor for warm ups. By 7:30 p.m. EST, reports of the game being cancelled surfaced, and by 8 p.m. EST, the NBA officially announced that the game would be postponed.
Some of the players really wanted to play and were seen around the court, but Kings' forward DeMarcus Cousins took it to the next step and even started mopping the floor with some of the arena employees.

Unfortunately, the game could not be played as the water would not stop seeping in from the floor, and players from both teams told their agents and managers they would not feel 100% safe taking to the court under those conditions.
The NBA has not come up with a new date for the Sixers and Kings to take the court in Philadelphia.
