During the 2017 postseason, Tony Parker saw his season come to an abrupt end after suffering a rupture in his left quadriceps tendon in the Western Conference semifinals against the Houston Rockets.
The injury has put a lot about his and the San Antonio Spurs future in question, but his teammate Danny Green told RJ Marquez of KSAT that Parker is motivated to prove his doubters wrong.

Parker is currently on pace to make his return at some point in December or January. He is coming off another season where his numbers dropped averaging just 10.1 points, which are the lowest total since his rookie year.
There may be some extra incentive for the 35-year-old show he still has plenty left in the tank as he's entering the final year of his deal worth $15.4 million. This could be his chance to show that he can still play at a high level.
Parker has played a huge part in the team's success over his 16 years in the league. He is currently third all-time for the most wins by a player-coach duo in NBA postseason history alongside Gregg Popovich with 131 playoff wins. Parker is also second in the NBA’s all-time postseason scoring among point guards, fifth in assists (1,137), fifth in games played and ninth in points scored on the league's all-time playoffs list.
