Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals may be a forgettable one for the San Antonio Spurs, squandering a 25-point lead and losing to the Golden State Warriors, 113-111. However, there is a personal consolation for their veteran shooting guard.
Playing in the 210th postseason game of his stellar career, Manu Ginobili made history on the night, passing the great Clyde Drexler for 10th place on the NBA's all-time playoff steals list. He recorded three steals on Sunday, to give him 280 in total now.

Ginobili now needs 15 more steals to move past Maurice Cheeks on the all-time list. Larry Bird is currently in eighth place is only one steal ahead of Cheeks, according to Basketball-Reference.com.
While the 39-year-old Argentine has made a name for himself with his crafty offensive game, his defense remains as an underrated aspect of his arsenal. But with this climb, Manu Ginobili is sure to attract some lost respect back to the forgotten side of him.
