With the San Antonio Spurs set to honor the legendary Manu Ginobili on Thursday night by hanging his jersey in the rafters, the team recently announced that some members of Argentina's Golden Generation will be in attendance during the momentous celebration.
Notable names such as Andres Nocioni, Pablo Prigioni, and Luis Scola — all of whom were part of the iconic 2004 Olympics gold medal-winning Argentina side — will reportedly be holding a roundtable discussion as part of Ginobili's jersey retirement ceremony. This is per Spurs team insider RJ Marquez.
Ginobili himself led the charge for Argentina during that historic run, which was highlighted by their upset of Team USA. His former teammates — as well as the fans — will surely have a blast as they look back on Ginobili's decorated international career.

It was inevitable that the Spurs would eventually retire Ginobili's No. 20 jersey, as his contributions for the franchise were massive.
The Spurs drafted Ginobili as the 57th overall pick back in 1999, and little did they know that he would end up becoming one of the most significant players in the organization's history.
Prior to his retirement last summer, the 6-foot-6 shooting guard spent 16 seasons with San Antonio, where he would get two All-Star nods, two All-NBA selections, the Sixth Man of the Year trophy, and four NBA titles. Manu Ginobili finished up his career with averages of 13.3 points (on 44.7 percent shooting), 3.5 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 1.3 steals.
