The San Antonio Spurs are the last NBA team to reopen their practice facilities.

Spurs general manager Brian Wright announced on Monday on a media conference call that the team's facilities are finally open:

The Spurs are among the 22 teams that will be playing at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. The team had a record of 27-36 before the season was suspended in March due to COVID-19.

San Antonio doesn't have good odds of making the 2020 playoffs, though. While DeMar DeRozan is an All-Star guard who is averaging 22.2 points per game on the season, fellow All-Star LaMarcus Aldridge won't be in Orlando due to shoulder surgery.

The Spurs were already struggling in 2019-20 with DeRozan and Aldridge playing. Now, the road gets much, much tougher for Gregg Popovich's crew. This could finally be the season where the Spurs' long playoff streak ends. San Antonio hasn't missed the playoffs since all the way back in 1997.

The last time we saw San Antonio on the court, they defeated the Dallas Mavericks on March 10 behind 24 points from Aldridge and 17 from veteran small forward Rudy Gay. Once games start in sunny Florida, the Spurs will need all hands on deck if they want to keep the franchise's playoff streak alive.
