Philadelphia 76ers star rookie Ben Simmons has forged his way once again into the history books.
In their game against the Charlotte Hornets, in which they won 108-94, Simmons became just the third player in NBA history to record a triple-double without a turnover as a rookie.
He finished the game with 11 points, 12 rebounds, 15 assists, along with 3 steals, and by stuffing the stat sheets once again, he broke Allen Iverson's franchise record for most games with at least 10 assists.
The other two players who have done the same feat are David Robinson on February 2, 1990, where he logged in 27 points, 15 rebounds, and 11 blocks. The other was Andrea Iguodala on March 23, 2005, where he recorded 10 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists.

“It means a lot,” Simmons said postgame, of his latest triple-double. ”But it means more that we got the win, so I’m just happy we got the win.
“I think overall we played okay; it’s not our best game. But I think down the stretch, we really stuck together.”
These are among the many records set by Ben Simmons as a rookie. His most recent milestone before it was when he when he joined Hall of Famers Oscar Robertson and Magic Johnson as the only NBA rookies to reach 1000 points, 500 assists, and 500 rebounds.
The Sixers improved their record to 39-30 and are sitting on a three-game winning streak. They are sixth place in the Eastern Conference and have a mighty good shot at entering the playoffs. If they do, it would be their first appearance since the 2011-2012 season.
