The Philadelphia 76ers are lucky to have Ben Simmons in their fold. Simmons is only 21, and in just one season in the NBA, he’s shown that he could be the league’s next face. For now, though, Simmons content himself in leading the Sixers in the playoffs and dropping highlight plays that only add proof that points to him becoming a superstar soon – if he has not already turned into one.
Speaking of highlights, Simmons already has at least a pair in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference semifinals against the Boston Celtics Monday night, including this impressive full-court drive from the Australian point guard that ended in a huge two-handed slam.

Al Horford had no chance stopping Simmons in that transition play with the latter unleashing a series of crisscrossing dribbles that the former is not used to defending.
We also have to keep in mind that Simmons is 6’10”. A couple of decades ago, a man of that size would find his point guard to bring the ball down after forcing a turnover on the other end of the floor. Today, seven-footers are so skilled, they have the ability to bring the ball down the court without their coaches angrily yelling at them to give up the leather to his smaller teammates.
