Following their matchup on Tuesday, Joel Embiid and Karl-Anthony Towns made headlines when they went on a back-and-forth on Instagram, which caught the attention of a lot of fans. While many thought of it as a possibe a start of a fierce rivalry from them, Embiid made it known it was just pure fun.

The Philadelphia 76ers center spoke about their exchange, and explained that he did not intend his post to be a shot directed at Towns. Embiid then added, via Jessica Camerato of NBC Sports, that he thinks he made a great comeback from the comment made by the Minnesota Timberwoves big man.
