LeBron James made a lot of headlines on Tuesday night as he was ejected in a game for the first time in his career, when the Cleveland Cavaliers went up against the Miami Heat. When his defender wasn’t whistled for a foul in the third quarter, The King charged towards Kane Fitzgerald and apparently uttered expletives, which forced the game official to throw him out of the match.
With James’ record not intact anymore, it leaves the San Antonio Spurs duo of Pau Gasol and Tony Parker as the only two players who have a longer streak of games without getting ejected, according to ESPN.
LeBron James played 1,081 career regular-season games prior to being ejected Tuesday.
The only active players who have played more games without being ejected are Tony Parker (1,144) and Pau Gasol (1,139)

Gasol and Parker’s streak goes to show how they have been controlling their emotions during games. Even if they do not agree on certain calls, they have a deep understanding of how to communicate to the referees, without forcing them to toss them out. It also proves how professional they are, despite competing at the highest level, with a lot at stake in every game.
While there’s always a first time for everything, getting ejected is definitely not part of the list James has in his stellar career. Now that he has experienced it though, his fans are hoping it would be the last time it will happen to him, so he can just focus on playing, and get back to his dominating ways again.
