The Dallas Mavericks take on the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday, and it looks like Timberwolves point guard Derrick Rose will play after missing the previous six games with a right ankle sprain.

Mavs owner Mark Cuban, who travels with the team for every game, says Rose is going to be a handful for his team to deal with and that the former league MVP “has been a machine” this season:

Derrick Rose, who has undergone four knee surgeries since becoming the youngest MVP in NBA history back in 2011 with the Chicago Bulls, is having a stellar year this season with Minnesota. The Chicago native is averaging 18.9 points, 2.8 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game while shooting 48.6 percent from the field, 46.2 percent from beyond the arc and 83.8 percent from the free-throw line.

Rose put on a show in Dallas back in November against the Mavs. The 30-year-old scored 28 points in Minnesota's four-point loss. Rose started in that game, but he is going to come off the bench on Friday since Jeff Teague is back from his ankle injury.

Everyone in the NBA is happy to see Derrick Rose play at a high level again, including Mark Cuban. However, Cuban is probably hoping Rose doesn't play well on Friday versus the Mavs.
