One thing is abundantly clear: the Philadelphia 76ers have major interest in acquiring Kyle Lowry, and the Toronto Raptors are willing to part with the franchise's biggest contributor ever. Whether or not a deal gets done, that's another story. The Raptors will likely sell at the deadline, but they want everything and the kitchen sink for Kyle Lowry.

As relayed in Kyle Neubeck's PhillyVoice article, Brian Windhorst of ESPN has reported exactly what Toronto wants:

“From Philadelphia, they are permitted to trade '21 and '23 first-round picks, this year's pick in 2023. plus they have Tyrese Maxey, their young guard out of Kentucky, plus they have Matisse Thybulle. Toronto would like all of those pieces, and from what I am being told, Philly has not been willing to put that whole package in there.” – Windhorst

Philly would be off its rocker to deal all of that. And it's not a knock on Kyle Lowry. Lowry would be a big boost to the Sixers, who believe they have genuine title aspirations this season. But giving up a king's ransom to land the star point guard seems unlikely.

From Toronto's perspective, why not ask for everything in the bag and see how teams like Philadelphia and Miami react? They have every right to counter with an offer of their own just like the Raptors have the right to ask for just about every young and future asset those teams have.

Lowry has accepted that he may have played his last game in a Raptors uniform, and the realization seemed to hit him on Wednesday night:

Kyle Lowry is regarded by most as the best Raptor of all time.
