Love him or hate him, you have to admit that Toronto Raptors team ambassador, Drake, has been doing a bit too much lately. A lot of people have definitely taken notice of the rapper's antics, and this includes California-based rock band Smash Mouth, who has recently called out Drake for his seemingly overenthusiastic support for the Raptors.

For the younger generation, Smash Mouth, a band that originated from San Jose, California, made its mark in the music scene in the late 90's to early 2000's with hits like “All Star,” “I'm a Believer,” Somebody Once Told Me,” and “Why Can't We Be Friends?” They have not been making waves of late, so it would not be a surprise if the name does not ring a bell for the younger millennials.

At any rate, Smash Mouth did hold back their disdain towards Drake, even going as far as labeling the Grammy Award-winning artist as a glorified mascot. The band also sent out a stern warning, stating that there will be no room for the rappers' antics when his Raptors face the Golden State Warriors in Oakland.

Game 1 of the NBA Finals is slated to take place on Thursday night, and with the Raptors ending the regular season with a better record than the Warriors, home court advantage will be in favor of Toronto. It will certainly be interesting to see what type of effect — if any — Drake will have on the Dubs players when they host the back-to-back defending champs for the first two games of the series.
