Toronto Raptors shooting guard Danny Green becomes an unrestricted free agent this summer. Depending on what Raptors superstar small forward Kawhi Leonard ends up doing, Green could either re-sign with Toronto or continue his career elsewhere.

Green says he's going to prioritize winning in free agency. The guard is hoping that will be with the Raptors, but a lot can change once free agency starts on June 30.

ā€œI just want to continue to be in a place where I can stay on this high, winning games and being successful so if I can find a place or be in a place — which hopefully is here — and continue to be successful and win and be competitive each year, that’s exactly what I wanna do,ā€ Green told CBS Sports Canada.

ā€œThat’s been part of my M.O. and I want that to continue to be part of my brand, winning and try to be one of those guys that help teams win championships. One of the glue guys.ā€

If Leonard leaves the Raptors, Toronto will likely embark on a rebuild and Green clearly wouldn't want to re-sign. The veteran sharpshooter would likely stay with the Raptors, though, if Kawhi is back.

During the regular season, Green averaged 10.3 points while shooting 46.5 percent from the field and 45.5 percent from beyond the arc. He will be pursued by multiple teams this offseason, as every team in the NBA needs shooting and defending.
