Toronto Raptors free agent Danny Green says it “would be great to know” what Kawhi Leonard is going to do sooner rather than later.

If Leonard re-signs with the Raptors, Green will likely do the same. However, if Leonard joins the Los Angeles Lakers or Los Angeles Clippers, Green will probably look to leave Toronto and sign with another contender.

Like Leonard, Green has been linked to the Lakers. The sharpshooter is also drawing interest from the Dallas Mavericks. However, the 32-year-old marksman wants to know where Leonard is going before he makes his decision.

The question is: how long can he wait? The market for shooters never dies, but the Lakers and Mavs might sign another free agents before Leonard makes up his mind, which would put Green in a tough spot.

This past season with the Raptors, Danny Green averaged 10.3 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.6 assists while shooting 46.5 percent from the field, 45.5 percent from beyond the arc and 84.1 percent from the free-throw line. Green and Leonard now have two championships on their résumé. The two friends were on the 2014 San Antonio Spurs team which defeated LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh and the Miami Heat in the Finals.

A lot of people around the league believe the Raptors will enter a rebuild if Kawhi Leonard leaves, which means Marc Gasol, Kyle Lowry and Serge Ibaka could all be traded. It would make sense for Green to leave Toronto if Kawhi does.
