Sports and politics are currently intertwined in an ugly blend, thanks to whatever it has been coming out of United States President Donald Trump’s mouth. Last Friday, Trump waged war against the NFL before he did against North Korea when he referred to football players kneeling during the playing of the national anthem before games as “sons of b****es” during a speech in Alabama.

Naturally, Trump has caught hell from NFL players and from also the NBA, whose players have given countless of takes with regards to that unsavory speech from the POTUS. That includes Toronto Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan, who compared Trump to a misbehaving grade-schooler.

DeRozan spends most of his time north of the border, but he’s clearly in touch with what’s been happening in his home country. Trump has set off the ire of so many people, including NBA players with his crude use of language and conduct unbecoming of a state leader that even normally reserved people like DeRozan can’t help but react.

DeRozan has one unsolicited advice for Trump, suggesting that the president take time to assess himself and his behavior.

Knowing Trump, he’ll likely just dismiss DeRozan’s opinion and just respond to it by putting the Raptors to blast for not winning any hardware.
