Looking back into a colossal collapse during Game 1 of the Eastern Conference semifinals, DeMar DeRozan admitted to be surprised officials didn't call a blatant Kevin Love elbow to the face during the last few minutes of the fourth quarter.
“I don't know why they didn't look at it,” said DeRozan, according to Ryan Wolstat of The Toronto Sun. “I don't know why they didn't look at it. Should have looked at it. I don't know.”
DeRozan said officials told him it was ruled an “accidental” contact, as the Raptors were given the ball and didn't shoot free-throws to follow, as Love went unpunished for the action.

Love clearly swings his elbows wildly during this play, clocking DeRozan right in the jaw, taking several steps with the ball, as he hoped to maintain possession of the ball.
Article Continues BelowA flagrant foul would give him the Raptors two free throws and the ball, a huge difference at that point of the game, where Toronto struggled to score.
Asked of the state of his jaw, the Raptors shooting guard admitted to being okay after the incident.
“Cool, man,” he said. “Made of steel.”
The Raptors will be forced to rally once again, down 1-0 in the series, no longer holding home court advantage against the reigning Eastern Conference champions.
