If he’s not rapping then Drake is probably, um, Kyle Lowry’s translator?
The rapper crashed Lowry’s postgame interview after the Toronto Raptors handled the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday. Lowry, who is currently making headlines amid the looming trade deadline, gamely answered questions and brought out Drake through Facetime.

Lowry has no idea what’s next for him in the next couple of hours. According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Raptors are in touch with the Miami Heat and the Philadelphia 76ers but both teams have shown restraint in terms of how much they have to give up for the veteran point guard.
Sources: Raptors discussing Kyle Lowry and Norman Powell deals on multiple fronts and those talks are expected to extend into Wednesday — and perhaps even Thursday. Philadelphia, Miami are interested in Lowry, but both have shown restraint in how far they'll go to get a deal.

As for Lowry, his legacy will forever be remembered in Raptors history, especially by diehard fans like Drake. Even if he isn’t traded yet, he is already considered the greatest Raptors player of all-time. Some fans were nostalgic after the game versus the Nuggets, assuming that it could be Lowry’s last game with the team.

The 35-year-old Lowry, who helped the Raptors win the 2019 title, also sounded nostalgic before Drake crashed his interview. He noted he always plays his butt off, regardless of his team, which is why he's gotten to where he is today.
Kyle Lowry: "I'm not the tallest, I'm not the most athletic, I'm not the fanciest, but I play hard. It's gotten me a long way, playing hard…I won't regret anything I've done because I've played my butt off."
Out. Work. Everyone.

Lowry had a solid game versus the Nuggets, finishing with eight points, five rebounds, and nine assists. His most impressive feat, however, was being a +42 on the night, the best mark of his career.
Fans that know Kyle Lowry understand that he isn’t always about the numbers but rather the way he impacts the game. He’s been a delight to watch with the Raptors all these years. Just ask Drake.
