Canadian NBA fans continue to show massive support to the Toronto Raptors not only by watching the game live at Scotiabank Arena or trooping to Jurassic Park to cheer. Those at home are also tuned in to see if the team can pull an upset over the Golden State Warriors.
Game 1 of the NBA Finals was the most-watched NBA game in Canada, but it was immediately eclipsed by Game 2 on Sunday night.
Sunday's NBA Finals Game 2 between the Raptors and Warriors attracted an average audience of 4.3 million viewers on @TSN_Sports, CTV2 and RDS, making it the most-watched NBA game on record in Canada. More than 10 million Canadian viewers tuned in at some point.

The Raptors lost Game 2 to the Warriors 109-104, but not after a furious run in the fourth quarter that saw them erase a 12-point lead. They were able to cut the lead to two, 106-104, with less than 20 seconds left; however, a defensive blunder left Andre Iguodala wide open for the game-sealing 3-pointer.

Despite the loss, Raptors superstar Kawhi Leonard dominated once again and finished with 34 points and 14 rebounds. Marc Gasol and Pascal Siakam, nonetheless, were only able to produce a total of 18 points after combining for 52 points in Game 1.
The series will now shift to Oakland for Games 3 and 4.
The Raptors' historic playoff just shows how loyal their fans are. They continue to cheer for their team despite several years of shortcomings and heartbreaks. It is still possible that Toronto will end up losing this series, but their supporters will be behind them no matter what.
Game 3 of the series will be on Wednesday.
