Toronto Raptors center Jonas Valanciunas did not seem very pleased after he dislocated his left thumb in Wednesday night's game against the Golden State Warriors.
Valanciunas suffered the injury early in the second quarter after the ball was knocked away by Warriors star Draymond Green, which caused the 7-footer to hit the ground in a lot of pain.
The good news? The Raptors still managed to score a basket on the play. The bad news? Valanciunas' thumb was facing the wrong direction.

And for those who want proof of the actual injury, well, here you go. But if you're not a fan of thumb dislocations, this may not be the video for you:

As expected, most of the Twitter replies to the injury involve the lack of a foul being called on the play, and there was clearly some contact there. Unfortunately for the sixth-year pro, the sequence led to a rough injury that did not look good at all.
Valanciunas had six points and seven rebounds in just eight minutes of action in the game, so it wasn't exactly ideal for the Raptors to see him pick up the brutal injury.
However, Toronto did take a 16-point lead into halftime, even with Kawhi Leonard sidelined for another game due to a hip injury. As of this writing, the Raptors had opened up a 20-plus-point lead in the fourth quarter.
After Wednesday's game in Oakland, the Raptors will continue their road trip with a matchup against the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday night.
