Toronto Raptors star Kawhi Leonard is cherishing every moment during this unique playoff run with his new team, enjoying every second of high-stakes action. The Raptors are now up 3-2 in the Eastern Conference Semifinals, and despite having the pressure to close it out sooner, rather than later — Leonard is living it up to the fullest.

“All of life is pressure, but at this time, I'm having fun,” Leonard told ESPN's Kevin Arnovitz.”I've been in the tough battles, played the greatest teams, been to the Finals. I'm just in a moment having fun. I think that's what you've got to do. I've got to enjoy this, enjoy this NBA. I don't want to look back and say, ‘Damn. I was too stressed or too locked in to have fun and play the game I've got to play.'

“That's what I've learned from my past, and that's what I take in every game: just going out there and having fun but competing my ass off and leaving it all out there to try to win a game.”

Leonard has been a monster this postseason, now averaging 34.6 points and 9.8 rebounds per game in the series — MVP-caliber numbers that could very well spark the Raptors to their first conference finals appearance since 2016, when they lost 4-2 to the Cleveland Cavaliers.

It's often hard to have a palate for the postseason when the pressure is so high, but Leonard's vast playoff experience makes it much easier to stay in the moments and relish the thrill of being at this stage.
