After Toronto Raptors All-Star Kyle Lowry and Philadelphia 76ers rookie Ben Simmons were ejected with under seven seconds left in a 117-111 Sixers win on Monday, they both appeared to want a continuation of their chatter in the locker rooms. After a couple of physical moments between both of them throughout the game and a lot of talk, they were tossed out of the game.
The game was essentially over and the victory by Philadelphia was sealed as both were sent to their locker rooms early. Neither a game to brag about as Lowry scored only 13 points on 3-for-16 shooting, adding seven rebounds, four assists, three steals, and four turnovers. Simmons shot better, scoring 12 points on 5-for-10 shooting, plus four assists, two blocks, and two steals, but an ugly mark of six turnovers.
When Simmons pointed at the locker rooms as he walked away, Lowry appeared to be all-in for a backstage altercation.

Things did not end there, as Jon Johnson, a Sixers insider, initially reported they did have an altercation after leaving the court:

Lowry denied any interaction with Simmons and said he went straight to the locker room, as reported by The Athletic's Eric Koreen:
Lowry says there was no post-ejection altercation between he and Simmons: "I was in the back. That's where the locker rooms are."

Thankfully for both, the situation did not go any further. Imagine how a fight between 6-feet tall Lowry and 6-foot-10 tall Simmons would end. No punches were thrown, so the league probably will not take any other action besides the fines players need to pay when receiving a technical foul or an ejection.
Coincidentally, Lowry's Raptors lead the league in fines/financial penalties to players. The roster has paid a total $308,714 in fines and suspensions this season, according to Spotrac.com.
