After the Toronto Raptors' loss to the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday night, Nurse expressed his displeasure with the NBA not scheduling Toronto for a Christmas Day game, according to Ryan Wolstat of the Toronto Sun:

I asked Nick Nurse if he's disappointed the Raptors, with the NBA's best record, aren't playing on Christmas: “A little. I think it’s a marque day to play and I think our team would like to play and I think our fans would definitely like to see us play,” Nurse said.

Speak for yourself, Nick.

If you polled the world, most people would likely tell you that they hate working on Christmas. This is a pretty well-known thing.

But, there is a small faction who actually gets upset when they don't have to work on Christmas. That small faction is Raptors head coach Nick Nurse.

But in all seriousness, the Raptors not having a Christmas Day game doesn't look too good right now, as they currently own the best record in the NBA at 25-10.

They have slowed down quite a bit over the last month, having gone 13-9 over their last 22 games, but there is little doubt that Toronto is one of the best teams in the league.

Lately, though, the Raptors are struggling more than they have at any one point this season, as they have gone just 5-6 over their last 11 contests as their schedule has gotten tougher.

Toronto will get a nice, long rest now, as it will not play again until Wednesday when it takes on the Miami Heat in South Beach.
