Toronto Raptors guard Norman Powell abruptly left the team's road game versus the Utah Jazz at the Vivint Smart Home Arena on Monday. The 26-year-old hurt his left ankle in the midway part of the first quarter.
Powell went straight to the bench limping and was in obvious pain. The 6-foot-3 guard is reportedly done for the evening, per Raptors reporter Blake Murphy. Powell was on the floor for just two minutes before the unfortunate injury. He missed his only attempt from the field, a 3-pointer.

As a team, the defending champions Raptors have been hounded by the injury bug for most of the 2019-20 NBA regular season.
Norman Powell has already missed his fair share of games in the first half of the season, sitting out 20 games due to multiple injuries. He is having a career-year for Toronto, averaging 8.8 points, 3.7 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and 1.3 steals, while shooting 50.3 percent from the field and 40 percent from downtown.
