Toronto Raptors forward Pascal Siakam had a chance to send Friday's game against the Utah Jazz to overtime. However, Lady Luck didn't smile in his favor.
In another heartbreaker for the Raptors, Siakam missed a game-tying triple at the buzzer that would have tied the game at 115-all and extend it to OT. Making matters worse, the ball actually rolled around the rim and looked like it was going in before it popped out.
The disbelief and pain were clear, as Siakam and the Raptors couldn't do anything but look down after the hard-fought game that ended in a loss.

Pascal Siakam had a pretty solid outing for the Raptors in his second game back from the health and safety protocols. He finished with 27 points on top of five rebounds and nine assists. Five other Toronto players scored in double figures, with Fred VanVleet and Norman Powell contributing 17 points apiece.

As for the Jazz, Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert made sure that Toronto won't be celebrating the win. Mitchell recorded a game-high 31 points, five rebounds, six assists and three steals. Meanwhile, Gobert had a monster double-double of 15 points and 16 boards to go with his two blocks.
While certainly heartbreaking, Siakam and the Raptors can only hope that Lady Luck will favor them next time.
