It is no secret that the Toronto Raptors (27-10) have played exceptionally well so far as the team approaches the halfway point of its 2017-18 season. But exactly how well are they playing this season compared to other years?

According to a Reddit post on Sunday by user u/arashtp, a graphic was submitted that shows the Raptors have set a franchise record through 37 games of the season for greatest point differential (+8.08) and wins (27) in Toronto's 23-year history.

So it's safe to say that this is Toronto's best campaign to date and will hopefully continue into the second half of the regular season. The Raptors, who are three games back of the Boston Celtics (33-10) for the top spot in the Eastern Conference, are currently ranked third in the NBA and first in the Eastern Conference in team scoring at 112.1 points per game.

Toronto continues to be led this season by three-time NBA All-Star shooting guard DeMar DeRozan, who should be making his fourth trip to the All-Star Game next month in Los Angeles. In 37 starts, DeRozan is currently averaging a whopping 25.0 points, 4.9 assists, 4.3 rebounds and 1.2 steals per game in roughly 34.4 minutes of action per contest.

Up next, the Raptors will conclude a three-game road trip in search of their fifth straight victory on Monday night when they take on the Brooklyn Nets (15-24) at Barclays Center. Beginning on Tuesday versus the Miami Heat, the Raptors will then play five of their next six games at Air Canada Center.

Monday night's contest against the Nets, which will tip off shortly after 7:30 p.m. ET, will be broadcast live locally on Sportsnet ONE and YES Network.
