The Toronto Raptors are off to a great start in this year's playoffs after they took care of business against the Brooklyn Nets with a first-round sweep. Now, they are poised to meet the highly talented Boston Celtics in the second round, who had blistering postseason start themselves.

Given that the Celtics also dominated their postseason series, Raptors head coach Nick Nurse is not taking their upcoming foes lightly.

“I think they’re really good,” Nurse said of the Celtics on Monday, via The Boston Globe’s Gary Washburn. “They’re super talented, deep, they’re very well coached. I think they’re playing great at the moment.”

The Celtics have been rolling so far and have won nine out of their 12 games in Orlando, including four impressive victories in the first round of the playoffs to eliminate the Philadelphia 76ers. Although the Raptors head coach claimed that he expected the Cs to come out on top against the Sixers, it was still surprising that they didn't even give Philly a a fighting chance — highlighting how scary the the Boston team is.

“They put away a very talented (Philadelphia 76ers) team with ease, with ease. There was never a doubt really in that series, which way that was going, maybe a little bit in one game. They handled us really good in the bubble here. I’m hoping it’s a great series. We’re going to need to play great to beat them,” Nurse added.

The 2019-20 Coach of the Year knows that the Celtics are a different team in Orlando, spearheaded by a talented backcourt of Jayson Tatum, Kemba Walker and Jaylen Brown. The last time they met earlier this month, Boston ended up with a 122-108 blowout win against the Raptors as their big three showed up huge once again.

Look for Nurse and the Raptors to make the necessary adjustments to prepare themselves for a dog fight in the second round.
