Kawhi Leonard may or may not be meeting with a contingent from the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday. Connecting the dots with the time-honored free agency tradition of flight-tracking, though, it certainly seems likely the reigning Finals MVP, at the very least, is in Toronto.

As noted by Stephanie Smyth of Toronto's CP24 News, the private plane of Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment, which owns the Raptors, arrived at Toronto's Pearson airport on Wednesday. While the passengers de-boarding can't quite be identified by aerial view, one of them definitely bears a resemblance to Leonard.

CP24 is even following the caravan that left the airport via helicopter.

Also of interest: Raptors writer Kevin Rashidi also noted that the MLSE plane flew in to Toronto from Los Angeles, where Leonard has been since the start of free agency.

The notoriously introverted Leonard has been radio silent throughout the first few days of free agency. While other big names like Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and Jimmy Butler came off the board on day one, Leonard has quietly been gathering intel on the teams he's considering, able to maintain a sense of privacy despite so much interest in his decision by reportedly telling representatives of the Raptors, LA Clippers, and Los Angeles Lakers to refrain leaking info on their interactions – or else.

Leonard, 28, led Toronto to the Larry O’Brien Trophy following a trade from the San Antonio Spurs last summer. He averaged a career-high 26.6 points, 7.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 1.8 steals per game during the regular season, but only played in 60 games due to “load management” related to the quad injury that caused him to miss almost all of 2017-18. All that rest paid off in the playoffs, though, as Leonard performed at a level higher than any other player in the league while bringing the Raptors their first ever title.
