After the Toronto Raptors' huge double-overtime win on Wednesday night against the Boston Celtics, there were a lot of words exchanged between Marcus Smart and Norman Powell. Toronto head coach Nick Nurse had to step in and make sure things didn't get ugly.
The reigning Coach of the Year asked his players to go back to the locker room and had a simple, NSFW instruction for his squad.
âGo, go. F**k him,â Nick Nurse said as he gestured for his players to head out of the playing court.

Fortunately, the Raptors heeded their coach's call and the post-game jawing between the players didn't escalate.
It wasn't Nurse's only sound call that night as he navigated his team to an impressive 125-122 win to extend the series to a do-or-die Game 7 on Friday. Nurse made the smart call of going small and went with OG Anunoby as his five down the stretch, which turned out to be huge for the Raptors' win.
Although Anunoby only had 13 points, he grabbed 13 boards and had another crucial 3-pointer in overtime to keep the Celtics at bay. OG was just one of the four starters for Nurse who played 50 minutes or more in the back-and-forth Game 6.
Marcus Smart, for his part, had a monster night and was one shot away from extending the game for the third time. The Celtics guard had 23 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists. Unfortunately for him, he saw his last 3-pointer rim out which would've tied the game.
Needless to say, Game 7 between these two fiery teams is a must-watch showdown.
