Bosh, the fourth overall pick in the 2003 NBA Draft, spent seven seasons with the Raptors and has led the team to multiple playoff appearances. However, he wasn't able to lead them to a championship. He left the team back in 2010 to join LeBron James and Dwyane Wade in Miami, where he won two NBA championships.
The Raptors spent a few rebuilding years since Bosh left and ultimately found an All-Star tandem in DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry. They've been one of the best teams in the East for the past three years, but they haven't been able to get past the conference finals.
Last summer, the Raptors traded DeRozan to the San Antonio Spurs for Kawhi Leonard, and while it didn't seem to work during the first few months of this season, the team managed to finish with the second best record in the East.

They will be facing the Golden State Warriors in a best-of-seven series which will begin tonight.
Although Bosh hasn't been a Raptor for close to a decade, he's still one of the reasons why they were relevant during the 2000s. The fans still admire him and is appreciative of everything that he's done for the city.
And that's always a good thing.
