No matter the reason, there won't be anything saving Toronto Raptors swingman Terrence Ross from an appearance in Shaqtin' A Fool come Thursday night, as Ross blew a breakaway windmill slam at home against the Milwaukee Bucks.
It won't matter that he was the one getting the steal or that he's a former 2013 NBA Slam Dunk champion, but that he had an easy finish and his showman instincts took over, resulting in him getting stuffed by the rim.
Article Continues Below“I don't know man. I started calling it the curse of Vince Carter. Nobody is allowed to do two-foot windmills in the (Air Canada Centre) until he retires,” Ross joked to reporters after the 22-point win.
“It's going to be on every meme, every social media, so I'm going to get used to seeing it around but hopefully it goes away soon.”
The 25-year-old Portland native had otherwise his best scoring outing of the season, going off for 25 points off the bench, including a crisp 4-of-6 from deep.
