Utah Jazz star Donovan Mitchell has truly established himself as one of the elites. If you need further proof, then look no further than his Game 2 performance against the Los Angeles Clippers in which he reached Michael Jordan's level.
Mitchell scored 37 points during Thursday's contest, all while adding three rebounds and four assists. He was also largely efficient, making 15 of his 29 field goal attempts including going 6-of-12 from beyond the arc.
In doing so, per Basketball Reference, the Jazz guard has tied Jordan for the fourth-most 30-point playoff games in their first four seasons with 13. In the last 40 years, only LeBron James (14), Hakeem Olajuwon (17) and Dwyane Wade (18) had more.

Of course, Donovan Mitchell's postseason run this 2021 is far from over. With that said, there is a pretty good chance the Jazz youngster could surpass Michael Jordan's number and tie Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James next. It is also very much possible he could overtake Olajuwon and Wade in the list to claim the top spot.
After all, with the way the Jazz are playing, there is a good chance they go the distance in the playoffs. Utah is ahead of the Clippers 2-0 in the series, so there will be plenty of opportunity for Mitchell not only to lead his team to the promised land but also create individual history along the way.
Mitchell has been in the NBA for four years now after being drafted 13th overall in 2017. He has been in the playoffs since his first year in the league, though the team has never reached the conference finals during that stretch.
Sure enough, Spidah will hope that things will be way different this time around.
