The Utah Jazz visited the Sacramento Kings Wednesday night. One of the most noteworthy things during the game was Jazz rookie Donovan Mitchell's performance in the second half, where he scored 23 points.

According to Eric Woodyard of Deseret News, Mitchell said the following when he was asked about the matter:

“I fed off of this one just because somebody in the crowd was talking. I heard him the entire time. I don't know who it was but that's when I got mentally ready to go.”

Home court advantage is a real thing. Players playing on their turf can be pumped up by the support of their crowd. But Wednesday night's game has also proven that visiting players can also be pumped up by the trash talking of the crowd that's clearly supporting the other team.

The game had ended with a final score of 120-105, favoring the visiting Jazz.

Mitchell led the Jazz with 34 points, three assists, and three steals, while Willie Cauley-Stein led the Kings' attack with 26 points, 10 rebounds, and two assists.

The Jazz has a record of 18-26 in the season. One of the few good things salvaging the team's season is Mitchell, who has been a revelation for Utah.

The team got the draft rights for Mitchell because of a trade with the Denver Nuggets.

After losing someone like Gordon Hayward in the off-season, it's good to see the Jazz getting another stud who can deliver, especially when the crowd is doing its best to put the team down.
